Agile Delivery Manager - Financial Services / BankingWe are seeking an Agile Delivery Manager to join this award-winning, tech consultancy (SME) specialising in customised software and data solutions for the Banking, Fintech, Energy and Insurance markets.This is a new opportunity that will see the Agile Delivery Manager lead a small number of Agile teams (.Net & Java), drive the delivery of complex IT projects involving bespoke software and real-time data systems across both new and existing business, oversee all aspects of software development, and help strategize and grow this business function.This is a client-facing delivery role that requires strong technical skills with software development, and exposure to modern tech around messaging frameworks and real-time systems.This role will perfectly suit a 'hands-on' Agile Delivery Manager with a programming background, with experience of both the Financial Services sector and (ideally) Professional Services.Further skills and experience needed for the Agile Delivery Manager:Experience of working as part of a SME providing bespoke software to the Financial Services / Fintech sector (Buy Side, Trading, eFX etc.)Consultancy, client-facing and professional services experience highly preferredExcellent Agile / Scrum knowledgeIdeally experience of managing a small number of Agile teams, or a keenness to make the move into leadershipStrong technical background in software development (full SDLC), ideally in either Java or .Net with recent exposure to modern tech around real-time systems, messaging frameworks, HTML 5 etc.Strong people leadership skills, as well as stakeholder management at Board and 'C' levelStrong academic background; degree educated in a technical or computer science related subject essentialAbility to run multiple projects for external clients at any one timeThis is a great opportunity for an Agile Delivery Manager (bespoke software) to genuinely make their mark in this award-winning and growing company, utilising your skills to add value to the strategic growth and forward direction of the business!Agile Delivery Manager - Bespoke Software, Scrum, .Net, Java, Consultancy, Financial Services, Banking, Energy, Insurance, degree, Data, Real-Time, Programming, Architecture Location: City of LondonSalary: £90,000 - £110,000 + bonus (up to 10%) + benefitsPlease apply now for immediate consideration!Understanding Recruitment is acting as an agency on behalf of this vacancy.
