An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Graduate Retail Marketing Executives based in Hammersmith and Camden, Central London. From Grazia to Take a Break, CBeebies to Top Gear this is your chance to work with some of the biggest names in magazine publishing. It’s a lively, fun sector in which you will be exposed to many career avenues such as consumer goods trade marketing, analytics, retail planning and publishing management.As the Graduate Retail Marketing Executive your duties will include:
Retail promotionsTrade marketing support, budgeting, forecasting and ROR analysisLiaison with client publishers, marketers and sales managersCompetitor analysis, market planningModelling what-ifs for different commercial scenariosPlacing print orders To be successful, a Graduate Retail Marketing Executive will have the following skills, qualities or experience:
A confident user of spreadsheets (Excel/Google Analytics) with good numeracy and analysis skillsA team player and strong communicator, in meetings and in writingAmbitious, personable and willing to take responsibilityThe skills element could come from academic studies or work placementsUsed to a fast moving environment where time and accuracy matter Similar environments exist in retail buying and allocating, FMCG, market research, analytics and reporting (KantarTNS, Mintel, GfK etc), but the skills will be widely acquired and highly transferable.
In return you will receive a salary of £22,000 - £27,000 neg. per annum according to experience, with plenty of opportunity to develop a progressive career path. The success of your predecessors demonstrates that big things can start here.
