I am assisting them in finding a Principal Electronics / Firmware Engineer with a strong focus on building on the team's firmware engineering capabilities and technical leadership.
On offer is the chance to work on some fantastic projects as part of a small and talented team, designing creative and high-technology products. No day is the same.
With a customer-centric approach, you will be working on full-lifecycle product development, high technology projects that expose you to an array of new, cutting-edge technologies, seeing your work right the way through to manufacture, in-house.
Projects tend to be within Oil and Gas, Scientific Instrumentation, Industrial Controls, Life Sciences and Medical, Transport and Low Carbon, Environmental and Utilities as well as other industries where the need for safety and reliability is paramount.
You will be given the opportunity to work autonomously and closely as a team unit and must have the ability to communicate effectively whether that's with your colleagues or customers.

Key Skills
-Electronic Hardware Design
-Digital / Analogue circuit design
-Schematic Capture and PCB Design using Altium
-Embedded Firmware development in C
-16/32-bit Microcontrollers (ARM, STM32, PIC)
-Full development lifecycle
-Requirements Capture and Writing Specifications
-Customer support
The following skills are also desirable:
-Nordic microprocessors; MSP430 and other small and low power micro-controllers
-Connected Devices: IoT, Cloud based systems, LoRa, BLE
Salary/Benefits
£50,000 - £55,000
