Contracts Manager   
Kelston, Somerset (office/field based, with travel throughout the South West and South Wales)

Our client is an industrial engineering services group that provides turnkey engineering solutions to customers across the UK and Europe.    

They're now looking for a Contracts Manager to join a subsidiary of their business, the leading specialist for factory/industrial relocation and installation services.

The Role   

As the Contracts Manager, you'll oversee the delivery of engineering contracts.

Covering sites throughout the South West and South Wales, you'll travel to customers' premises, which are typically factories and manufacturing sites, to assess and cost their requirements.

You'll handle projects involving the movement or installation of plant, machinery or equipment with a large emphasis around lifting and handling. 

Occasionally, you may be required to handle projects with a mechanical or electrical element (internal or external assistance will be made available where necessary).

Our client is a well-equipped business with a large stock of specialised lifting and installation equipment designed to carry out specialised tasks, so you can rest assured you will always have the resources on-hand to complete your duties safely. 

About You   

To be considered as a Contracts Manager, you will need experience of at least one of the following: 

- Rigging and mechanical or electrical installation and/or supervision 
- Lifting and handling 
- Plant and equipment movement or transportation 
- Engineering site management and/or supervision 
- Manufacturing or production engineering management involving the movement of internal assets 

A full driving licence is also essential. 

Our client would like to hear from you if you've worked as a Rigging Supervisor, Electrical Installation Supervisor, Mechanical Installation Supervisor Foreman, Forewoman, Foreperson, Senior Project Engineer or Installation Supervisor. 

Other companies may call this role Contracts Manager, Engineering Contracts Manager, Construction Contracts Manager, Engineering Project Manager, Technical Project Manager or Technical Contracts Manager.
