Junior Developer - Graduates Welcome
Bath, Somerset
Starting salary of £23,000 - £28,000 DOE 

Our client is recruiting on behalf of an exciting EdTech business that is passionate about revolutionising careers education.

The company is currently experiencing a period of rapid growth, and they’re now looking for a Junior Developer to join them and support the delivery of a range of projects. 

Working under the supervision and support of the Lead Developer, you will: 

- Get involved with a broad range of tasks, from developing new product features to managing and resolving bugs 
- Write well-designed, testable and efficient code 
- Create website layouts and user interfaces
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements  
- Create and maintain software documentation 
- Liaise with the customer-facing and design teams to match builds to visual design intent 

Interested? 

To be considered as a Junior Developer, you’ll need experience of the following, gained through your studies, a commercial environment or similar: 

- JavaScript and/or jQuery 
- CSS
- HMTL5

Basic familiarity with Linux or knowledge of Symfony PHP Framework would be highly beneficial. Experience or knowledge of any of the following would also be an advantage: PHP, MySQL, MVC frameworks, SCSS/Compass, Git version control, Node package manager, Bootstrap CSS, REST APIs/Oauth or JSON.
