IT Systems Engineer sought by one of London's largest and most successful Hedge Funds. Our client is a remarkably successful Hedge Fund which has grown exponentially since its launch only a few years back with a current headcount of 100+. To support and enable this remarkable growth they are now looking to add two further IT Systems Engineers to a current team of six. This is a highly varied role spanning VIP Support through to complex back-end infrastructure projects and fixes. Our client has a world-class culture of high-performance and collaboration therefore we also require well-presented individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. RequirementsWindows 7 and 10, plus Office 365 & 2010Windows Server 2008/2012/2016Exchange 2016, Active Directory & NimbleCisco Networking, Cisco Voice and CollaborationDNS, DHCP, GPO, LAN/WAN & VPVMWare & SQLExperience of in-person VIP support and strong interpersonal skills.Degree in a STEM (Scientific, Technology, Engineering or Maths) subject plus good A-levels of international equivalent.Experience with Patch Management, Load Balancers and PowerShell preferred otherwise training will be provided.Finance / Hedge Fund / Consultancy experience preferred although any industry background is perfectly acceptable.Market Data experience preferred i.e. Bloomberg, Reuters.Relevant technical certifications preferred i.e. MCSE, CCNA, VCP… This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the biggest success stories in Finance in recent years where you will be able to work with industry leaders in a world-class Trading and Technology environment.
