Working within the polythene industry for over 60 years, this company has grown to become one of the largest polythene film manufacturers in the UK. Producing over 40,000 tonnes across two manufacturing sites allows them the freedom and ability to extrude, print and convert polythene into a multitude of different products.

Their two sites employ over 200 members of staff that tend to their 1400 customers based nationally and internationally.

Reporting directly into the IT Business Systems Development Manager, your duties will include but not limited to:

- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of existing MI Reports

- Enhance existing and create new MI Reports

- Enhance existing systems as well as develop new "systems" to meet business needs

- Respond to user queries, escalating to external support teams where necessary

- Extract and/or analyse data from various database systems

- Attend meetings to provide IT input, gather business requirements to formulate a plan of action

Skills & Experience:

- Basic SQL Server / T-SQL knowledge

- Excel VBA

- Excel power pivots

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)

- Excel pivot tables, basic understanding of macros, formulas i.e. sum, iif, VLOOKUP etc

- Understanding of joining database tables, different types of joins and the impact they have on query results

- Creation of access databases, tables, queries, forms and reports

- Good communication and organisational skills, working to deadlines

- Willingness to learn, self-motivated and a team player
