The client are looking for…- An experienced Software/Hardware Engineer is required for an anticipated period of 12 weeks, and is required to start as soon as possible.

- You will be using Microsoft Visual Studio to create an application that extracts data from a legacy piece of defence support equipment via a serial interface.

- This is a self-contained project working from minimal design documentation, therefore, you will be expected to interpret from existing equipment and design.

- You will also be expected to produce a small amount of documentation including a software development plan, build procedure and software version description document.

Required Experience / Qualifications / Attributes:

- Required experience: C/C++, communication protocols, hardware/software engineer

- You will require a certain amount of hardware knowledge to complete this task.

- Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented;

- Excellent verbal and written skills;
