We are passionate about training, technology and career development.Role OutlineThe Social Media Specialist will sit within the Digital Team and work closely with the Digital, Strategy and Planning, Activation, Content, Communications and Sales and Account Management teams.The Social Media Specialist will support and execute our client's global social media strategy, in support of their marketing, leads nurturing and digital sales efforts, for their key flagship solutions as well as their social conversational platforms.This role is required to help plug current execution gaps, accelerate global efforts and ensure that that the social media marketing strategy is deployed to its maximum effectiveness in terms of ROI aligned with core business and marketing priorities.Responsibilities:Plan and execute global social media community growth plan on channels LinkedIn and Instagram.Grow engagement and readership of our client's perspectives blog/content marketing efforts.Devise and construct experiments on platforms including WordPress, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube etc. to demonstrate the impact of campaign activity on engagement and conversion metricCoordinate and revitalise the social media channels landscape, ensuring governance across all countriesSupport the global social media content strategy efforts, including planning, scheduling, blog content production, SEO optimisation and managing language translations.Monitor social sentiment. Use social media listening platforms and tools to respond to commentsAssist in providing new ideas to social media team for campaigns, events etc.Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:5+ years of B2B social media, digital marketing or content marketing experience.Up-to-date knowledge of social media channels, audience and usage in a B2B environment (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc.)BA or BS in Marketing, Business or Information Services or related fieldStrong wider working knowledge of the broader marketing channels as well as digital marketing tactics such as website development, SEO, SEM and PPCExperience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)Adequate knowledge of image authoring tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva. Added advantage if you have prior or proven experience with video production or live video streaming.Proficient in WordPress, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Google docsAbility to multitask and deliver on tight timelinesHighly collaborative with a global business mindset, and ability to work independentlyWorld-class prioritisation and project management skills to ensure timelines and budgets are met
