Infrastructure Network Technical Architect
To £75K + extensive benefits package
Due to the secure nature of the work, all candidates must hold UK SC clearance status or be eligible to be SC cleared.
Birmingham/Bridgend/Reading/Bristol
A degree of mobility across several sites is also required. This role can be based in Bridgend, Birmingham, Reading or Bristol.
Position Description:
We are recruiting for an Infrastructure Network Technical Architect preferably with Next-Generation technology experience - Hybrid/Cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, Vrealise, etc.) to join a team responsible for design work.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As an Infrastructure Network Technical Architect you will be an SME in telecommunications, and be able to define, validate and provide cost solutions for projects & bids for customer requirements. Daily responsibilities could include providing input to low-level designs (LLD), best practice, pre-sales support, and cost estimates on the network element of designs, transitions and implementations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You must offer demonstrable and in-depth expertise in network design, particularly across IT infrastructure environments. Previous design experience of LAN, WAN and broad experience on a range of Firewalls (including Juniper, Cisco, CheckPoint) is critical.
As well as expertise in multiple network disciplines, demonstrable experience writing low-level designs, mitigating risk, working to documentation standards, disaster recovery and network solution governance should form the basis of a suitable profile.
