Role: Project Coordinator / Planner - Oil & GasLocation: AberdeenDuration: 6 Month initial contractPay: £18/hour (PAYE) £25/hour (LTD)

Role Summary/Purpose

To provide a proficient and effective coordination, and support to the Workshop and Project Management teams. To drive on time delivery targets for our customers. Ensure accurate and timely updating of our management systems. Role will focus on longer term planning to ensure building blocks are in place to drive efficient routing through the shop, reduce repair lead-times and reduce costs .

Essential ResponsibilitiesCreate visits for tools forecasted for long term demandWork to ensure forecast accuracy & capacity are balancedEnsure spares are provisioned for future demandWork to reduce repair lead-timesWork with the spares hub to ensure spares strategy ties with future demandWork to identify strategic Lifecyle spares to reduce repair lead times and reduce refub costsPlan re-certification of toolsWork on complex repair issues on tools to ensure optimum levels of tools availableParticipate in contract review, to ensure Customer requirements are captured Accurate, timely reporting as required by the Customer/ Business TeamAttend customer meetings where required.

Qualifications/RequirementsPreferably HNC or Equivalent educatedExperience buying parts with ERP/MRPManufacturing/materials managementStrong administrative skills/experiencePreferably a proven track record in a similar role, Project Planning & Administration roles.Understanding & experience of manufacturing processesAPICS or similar qualificationConsiderable experience working with Oracle or other ERP systemKnowledge of Subsea Wellhead & Production EquipmentKnowledge of Project management methodologies
