We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our passionate and enthusiastic digital team. You'll be helping us to educate, inspire and collaborate to deliver the right digital services for Londoners. We're focused on making London a city for all Londoners, with a digital presence to match. Our website, has a vast range of users for which we're building useful online tools and clear, engaging content. We're using inspiration from across the city and the digital sector, including best practice from the Government Digital Service and Local Government Digital Service Standard. We've a raft of useful tools for Londoners, including those to help you find an affordable home or cleaner vehicle, or to help you avoid a rogue landlord or volunteer across the city. You'll be working on a variety of digital products and processes such as these - overhauling and improving existing ones, as well as creating new ones from scratch. You'll take responsibility for engaging the business to understand what is needed to deliver in new areas of work. You'll be leading on the ‘discovery phases' and working on a wide portfolio of exciting products. Working closely with Product Owners, you'll help them to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for our development team to deliver. You'll assist in prioritising user stories to keep everyone focused on the minimum viable product.   You'll also be involved in a broader programme of digital transformation work within City Hall and across London's Government. You'll lead on Local Government Digital Service Standard assessments, extend our emerging user centred design community and champion best practices with senior stakeholders to embed digital ways of working. You'll work as part of a friendly and passionate multi-disciplinary team who are practiced and committed to being agile, collaborative and open. We are committed to being an inclusive employer and we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements. We would welcome applications from candidates who are seeking part time work as this role is open to job share. We will also consider reduced hours arrangements (minimum 32 hours per week). In addition to a good salary package, we offer an attractive range of benefits including 30 days' annual leave, interest free season ticket loan, interest free bicycle loan and a career average pension scheme. To apply, please visit our website.  Application closing date: Sunday 26 May 2019 at 23:59 GMT.
Interviews will take place at: City Hall on w/c 10 June 2019. London's diversity is its biggest asset and we strive to ensure our workforce reflects London's diversity at all levels. We welcome applications from everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith or disability.
