Wintel Infrastructure Analyst - Birmingham - 6 Month Contract

My client, a leading technology company are looking for a Wintel Infrastructure Analyst to support a large scale Cloud to Cloud migration project based in Birmingham city centre on a 6 month contract basis. You will be based full time on site and the client can offer a competitive daily rate.

Role Background:The successful candidate will act as a Wintel subject matter expert (SME) to the project and report directly into the Lead Architect.You will be supporting the migration of Windows Infrastructure Services (File Services and Active Directory) from OpenStack to Microsoft Azure.You will also be required to support with migration planning and cutover activities as well as act as a liaison between the technical team and the wider business.

Required Skills:Candidates should have extensive experience of Wintel Infrastructure as well as a solid understanding of Active Directory and Windows File Services.Prior Cloud Migration experience is also essential, ideally Cloud to Cloud based migration project experience.A good level of knowledge of Microsoft Azure is also required.Candidates should be eligible and willing to undergo a background check prior to going on customer site.
