Digital Business Analyst / Project Manager - Financial Services

Location: London

Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Delivers projects within the constraints of scope, time and cost to agreed levels of quality, within the organisation's project management framework.Defines, documents and manages smaller-scale projects with minimal supervision, working with multiple teams that may have differing priorities and working/cultural practices.Actively participates in all phases of the project or specific phases of larger projects.Work closely with business unit to create new or improved business processes/systems.Review and research business processes/systems to identify issues or potential enhancements.Present findings and solutions to business unit. Coordinate the testing and validation efforts to ensure process/system changes will integrate effectively into the overall business process.Work with various groups (e.g., technology developers, managers) to implement solutions that are in line with strategic goals and that specifically improve workflowIdentifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the projectBuild collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, and commitment to make decisionsEstimates timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed scope and constraints.Prepares and maintains project plans and tracks activities against the planImplement effective communication plan and operating rhythm, including provision of regular and accurate reports.Monitors timescales and resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensures that deliverables are implemented within these criteria.Manages change control gaining agreement for revisions from project stakeholders.Provides effective leadership to the project team ensuring members are motivated and developing their skills and experience. Identifies any problems with sponsorshipEssential Skills Required: Ability to think 'outside of the box', strong analytical and problem solving skills.Experience of translating and simplifying business ideas.Experience with digitalisation of the remote / Automation processAbility to synthesise information and present back in a professional formatExperience engaging with stakeholders of varying levels, managing across time zones and cultures.Project and Program management skills, including documentation and delivery, working knowledge of PMO frameworksExcellent communication, including presentation and written skills.Strong influencing skills and a positive leader.Ability to deliver against demanding deadlines and key milestones.Reporting and data analysis; able to visually represent data and processes in an easy to understand manner.Conflict resolution skillsAdvanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.Desired Skills Required: Programme Management expertise in the rollout of Digital programmes, operating models, building digital sales capabilities (i.e. online automated processes)Digital - building account management and sales capability and build tech & digital capability to other teams. (Automated processes, digitalising processes)Current experience in reviewing and transforming processes in a complex environmentExperience in Change ManagementPrior experience of JIRA tools
