Information Security Analyst - Permanent - London New and exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Information Security Analyst looking for the next stage in their career.Our client is a UK wide organisation looking for an Information Security Analyst with a demonstrable interest in IT Security to join their already talented team based in London.You will be working in partnership with the Chief Security Officer and Information Security Manager representing security strategy and security interest across all levels of the business.

ResponsibilitiesReview Security related Service Desk ticketsCoordinate vulnerability stats from Veracode and Pen tests and raising/chasing service desk tickets, helping produce vulnerability reportsMaintain the Information Asset Register (IAR)Assist in the continual improvement plan of IT Security posture through constant awareness of issues and threats, applying the appropriate controls in a timely and effective manner whilst maintaining productivityMonitor anti-virus compliance and regular management reportingAnalyse and report on anomalous behaviourRecord and investigate potential security threats and escalate as appropriateReport on adherence to policy and processSupport the Security on strategic security projects such as ISO27001, GDPR and new security systemsContribution to, refinement and rehearsal of cyber response policies and protocolsAssist the Information Security Manager in maintaining the Information security risk registerSkills and ExperiencesCity and Guilds information security qualification i.e. Level 4 Diploma in Information Security or equivalentPrevious work experience within IT/Information Security is extremely beneficial Personal Profile:The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in information security and be accustomed to working with people from technical and non-technical backgrounds. The Information Security Manager is looking for someone who can work in partnership with him and represent security in all levels of the business including working with users and senior management and translating risk in meaningful terms.
