The Role

This vital role within the Global IT Security function will give you the opportunity to be the main point of contact for Europe. The role will require you to work as part of a global team to look after our network infrastructure and network security for both existing and future focused business requirements

Skills

Strong experience with large scale firewall architecture, design, testing, development, migration, and integration

Experience with COTS NGFW (Next generation firewall) infrastructure technologies for both on-premises and cloud deployments

Ability to be hands-on and configure firewall rule sets and objects in an enterprise environment is required.

Knowledge of industry best practices for designing, implementing, and maintaining firewall, intrusion detection/prevention, SSL decryption and  security and service availability throughout the system life cycle

Operational experience with firewall technologies, including hardware refresh, software testing, software upgrades, and complex troubleshooting techniques

Experience using network management tools and packet capture analysis to resolve operational issues

Liaise with the Security Operations Center to develop detection capabilities

Current experience in security threats, solutions, security tools and network technologies along with a keen ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
