Spring Technology are happy to be working alongside a leading global provider of financial technology services used primarily in the banking, legal, private equity and real estate markets when undertaking M&A activities.

As we help recruit an experienced IT Technical Support Engineer to provide 1st line support to all users worldwide and be the key contact for all IT support for all London and European based staff.

Responsibilities will include -

-Monitoring and managing processing of tickets and ensure updates will be provided according to set SLA.

-Troubleshoot technical challenges faced by users involving different OS, browsers and 3rd party software's.

-Undertakes regular manual testing of the product and its features as well as IT equipment.

The successful candidate technical experience will include-

-Experience in providing 1st line technical support to internal/ external users.

-Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and related issues e.g. white-listing.

-Good knowledge of the operating systems and relevant hard or software.

-PC proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe and current web-related technologies.

-Basic understanding of browsers, firewall, antivirus and other network related components.

-Configuration of Networks and Servers.

-Installation of Ethernet switches / routers / firewalls.

-Active Directory administration, Antivirus and Office 365 experience.

-New asset/license procurement, configuration and software installations.

-Maintaining inventory of assets and licenses.

The successful candidate will have-

-Minimum of 4 years' experience in technical customer support to external users.

-High customer and service orientation skills.

-Good problem-solving skills with focus on quality and attention to detail.

-Ability to work within a team environment but also a self-starter.

-Ability to multitask in a time-sensitive and deadline driven work environment.

-Adaptable and flexible to changing work environment (including working hours/location).
