Python Software Engineer | Bromley | £55,000- £75,000One of our enterprise insurance clients are looking to hire a number of Digital Python Software Engineers to be based in their HQ offices in South East London. As a market leader, this client have a number of well recognised brands which span across home, motor and business insurance. Their roadside assistance brand are seeking a multi-skilled Software Engineer possessing a wide range of technical skills and capabilities. This is a career defining opportunity and a chance to be involved in the rescue industry. Your role will include embracing the true scaled Agile development processes, providing accurate and clear code and ensuring a deep understanding with distributed and parallel programming paradigm. Now, what can you bring to the team? You will have experience with some of the following: Languages- Extensive knowledge of Python. You must be an expert in this field and be able to code efficiently, cleanly and accurately in order to produce market leading software.Methodologies- You will be aware of Agile methodologies. Any understanding of the following are desired: Scrum, Kanban. You will also be familiar with Waterfall too. A strong desire to automate and implement CI/CD pipeline with TDD/BDD would also be preferred.Mentoring- An important part of this role will be to advise and guide partners to ensure the proposed solution fits with the overall system design principlesYou will also use Git source control systems such as GitHub of Bitbucket. Additionally, it is paramount that you have experience with SQL and NoSQL document storage systems. If you can implement REST APIs & have practical experience with AWS you will also be a good fit for this opening.But, what do you get in return?
