To help us do this, we're looking for creative Software Engineers. Mostly working in Agile software delivery teams, you'll proactively evolve software, solve problems creatively and work alongside other Software Engineers. Experienced in your area, we'll give you the freedom to manage your workload and decide the best way of working. You'll understand when something simply needs a quick turnaround, and when a task requires additional resource or attention. Above all, you'll be passionate about developing your knowledge and protecting the UK with your skills. It won't always be straight forward. You might face challenges that have never existed, so you'll need to have the spirit to persevere. But, you'll always be supported by friendly people, and you'll work in a welcoming, vibrant environment. While you'll most likely use JavaScript, C++, Java and Python, we'll support you to learn new languages and develop your ability. This might be through personal study or via a professional route - either way, we'll help you master all aspects of software. Inspired by working in the birthplace of the computer, you'll proactively keep up to date with new trends and constantly look for ways of pushing software even further.
