Security Operations Lead | 60,000 - 80,000 | Nr Guildford

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently seeking the services of a highly skilled Security Operations Specialist to join our client; a managed cloud, infrastructure and IT consultancy provider based in Surrey.

The ideal candidate will provide hands-on leadership and technical expertise to our client and their UK client base, assisting with driving the process around compliance and security - working with information security tools such as SIEM, FIM and Vulnerability Scanners.

THE BASICS:

The IT Security Operations Lead will drive the security operations team, engaging across all departments in support of all security initiatives, ensuring that best practices for security management are embedded into internal operations and client facing managed services.

THE KEY SKILLS:

Individuals with experience of implementing security architecture best practices; coupled with cloud-based architecture knowledge : able to measure the impact of security architecture issues, with knowledge of network-based and system-level attacks and mitigation methods will be of interest.

Technical knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, authentication and security protocols, with familiarity around virtualised environments (Azure, AWS, VMWare, Hyper-V) will hold you in good stead.

THE OTHER STUFF:

Monitoring, detecting and responding to security events and conducting regular security reviews of core infrastructure, operations and services is vital. Individuals who can lead a team responsible for network and application penetration testing, whilst establishing and maintaining security architecture should apply TODAY.

You will work with other teams to maintain a consistent, secure architecture and provide regular reporting via Security Dashboard.

THE DESIRABLES:

Any candidate with CISSP and/or CISM or SSCP or ITIL will likely receive an immediate interview request.
