The Role:

As an application support analyst you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills by providing your expertise in a technical environment by delivering your analytical and technical solutions whilst providing application support to enhance the company's systems and output. This will include integrating aggregators, data enrichment, dealing with products the company use.

Key Responsibilities:

*Analysing and delivering technical solutions with the aim of enhancement from an applications point of view.

*Making sure all software house platforms and internal software are running optimally to ensure maximum uptime by working with IT operations and the service desks.

*Getting involved with incident management and escalating the incidents appropriately.

*Working with data and insurer partners to develop knowledge on new technologies and initiatives and how they can be implemented within the company strategy. This could be CDL, OpenGI, Experian and Lexi Nexis etc

*Ensuring all test platforms, development and production are secure and robust.

*Helping to assist moving the team towards a Continues Delivery in order to improve efficiency, lower risk and increase reliability which all maximises the delivery of change.

*Ensure robust testing methodologies are embedded by working closely with testing functions both internal and external.

*Participating in conferences, networking events, and meetings in order to develop your knowledge on in industry developments and innovations.

*Take part in the development, support and analysis of operation services, broker systems and bespoke requests.

Skills and Experience Required:

*Operational experience in using CDL Classic, CDL Strata or Open GI.

*Excellent communicative skills to develop key rapport with third parties such as data providers and insurers.

*Good commercial awareness and up to date with latest information.

*Awareness of cyber, data, and information security risks and how they could impact the business.

*Technically and analytically minded.

*Previous experience working in an insurance environment and an understanding of the UK general insurance market (Desirable)

*Technical knowledge and experience with CDL Proteus, Business Rules and RTP. (Desirable)

*Prior experience in the testing of systems and services (Desirable)
