SQL Server DBA - Stoke on Trent - up to £50,000 + 10% pension

A leading professional services organisation with 1500 staff based in Stoke on Trent. The company has seen a large period of growth and seeks additional technical resource to support UK wide operations.

Role

We are seeking an operational SQL Database Administrator to work in a fast paced and challenging environment, you will be responsible for both production and project work.

You will be responsible for database tuning, security, installations, back-ups and performance management.

Key skills & experience

* Microsoft SQL Server Experience, including SQL Server 2008R2 up to SQL Server 2016, with knowledge of differences in all versions and across all SQL Server editions

* SQL Azure

* In-depth understanding of database security during their design and deployment

* Experience of enterprise database design, strategy and architecture.

* A highly capable business-oriented individual

* Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

* Knowledge of SSRS and SSIS
