You will be based on site with one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. Role overview: Our client require a Business Analyst to work with Tax Stakeholders to identify and define business problems and opportunities; exploring and scoping possible solutions to these problems and enabling transformational business change in order to create value. You will work with technical teams to define detailed, value-focused solution options based on the opportunity and provide recommendations, weighing up investment vs. return and observing 2020 strategy and innovative technology. Daily activities will include: Working with the Product Owner to evolve the Product roadmap, creation of epics and writing of user stories and managing the product backlogSupporting Capturing, analysing and documenting of business processes (including IT processes)Anticipating issues and risks and act to mitigate theseWorking within complex Technology projects - these may span across multiple business units and/or geographies The successful candidate will have: Experience working on complex IT projectsTax knowledge/experience (Specifically experience with Corporation Tax)Great communication skills (a consultancy type approach to engagement and opportunities identification)Expertise in Agile engineering practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, and LEAN) as well as Disciplined Agile and SAFE framework experienceGood technology knowledge/innovations Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
