O365 & Exchange Consultant

We are working with a world leading organisation on a long term programme of work. We have a requirement for a confident O365 & Exchange Consultant to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

o This role requires prior Office 365 mailbox migration experience, scheduling migration batches and process management.

o Office 365 & Exchange SME is responsible for assisting in the planning and support of the migration from multiple on-premises Exchange environments into Azure-hosted Office 365 environment.

o Hands-on migration experience of Exchange On-premises to Office 365 Azure-hosted solution.

o Provide 2nd & 3rd line support for email and messaging systems.

o Configure tools for monitoring and use them to proactively identify issues within email & messaging systems.

o Implementation and migration of Exchange Archiving and Journaling.

o Create and maintain technical documentation o Develop and train Service Desk and Support staff to resolve 1st and 2nd line Office 365 issues.

Key Skills/Experience:

o Significant expertise in Windows Server Administration in a multi-tenant environment.

o In-depth working knowledge on managing Windows Operating Systems (Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server, Windows 2012 server) on Physical and Virtual infrastructure.

o In-depth working knowledge with respect to identification , troubleshooting and resolution of VMware, Messaging & Windows Operating System issues.

o Quantifiable extensive hands-on experience in identification, troubleshooting and resolution of various services running on Windows Operating system.

o Significant quantifiable experience in proactive monitoring, performance management and tuning on Windows based platform.

o In-depth knowledge on monitoring and managing VCenter console, ESX Farms and datastores.

o Significant quantifiable knowledge on Antivirus Management.

o Quantifiable extensive knowledge on Patch management.

o Significant quantifiable experience in networking as related to operating systems.

o Quantifiable knowledge on Active Directory & Messaging.

o Significant quantifiable knowledge on ITIL standard processes.

In conjunction with the 'Purpose of the Role' statement above, the successful candidate will be required to operate on an operational rotated basis as follows:

Continued operational support coverage made available from 7:00am to 8:00pm (Mon-Fri) via the following two shift basis weekly pattern on a one week about resource rotated basis;

Shift 1 - 7:00am to 3:30pm (inclusive of 30 minute unpaid lunch break).

Shift 2 - 11:30am to 8pm (inclusive of 30 minute unpaid lunch break).

(OR) General shift working from 9:30am to 6pm (inclusive of 30 minute unpaid lunch break).

On-call support to be provided from 6:00pm to 8:00am on weekdays and 24 hours on the weekends (inclusive of Public Bank Holidays) on a one week about resource rotated basis.

Whilst the above Out of Hours / On-Call / working schedule has been determined in line with the current job role requirement, the Company reserve the right to alter such by providing a minimum of 4 weeks prior notice to any change as maybe required, in line with our clients expected operational service support schedule as may be determined from time to time.
