Michael Bailey Associates are currently recruiting for a Credit Risk Business Analyst (US GAAP Impairment)for a Leading Financial Organization in Zurich, Switzerland.Duration: 6 Months ContractMain responsibilities will include:· Represent CRM IWM in the group wide project, ensure that CRM IWM requirements are met and CRM IWM deliverables successfully delivered

· Design of the E2E BAU US & Swiss Banking GAAP impairment business process from a CRM IWM perspective coordinating with several SMEs covering several lending products and locations

· Identify best practice and lessons learned from FAS 5 and IFRS 9 to help deliver a streamlined and efficient business process

· Work closely with relevant CRM IWM SMEs to understand any local (regulatory) requirements and to ensure these are addressed in the overall Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and in the E2E business process

The skills required will be:

· Experience in impairment projects (IFRS 9 or US GAAP CECL) within a large bank

· Excellent understanding of credit risk from a reporting and workflow perspective (proficient understanding of front to back systems, data, processes and current regulatory requirements for credit risk functions in an international setting)

· Experience in designing operating models, processes and control functions

· Knowledge of banking products (especially loans and associated risk models)

· Understanding IT technology

· Familiarity with Swiss banking secrecy
