Role: Integration Domain Architect Start Date: ASAPLocation: NewburyDuration: 3-6 months Description: This role is acting as a Senior Design Lead (The Integration Domain Architect) within the Integration Domain. You will be required to manage Projects through the full life cycle working with SOA principles, Agile methodology and technologies such as Java, TIBCO leading a team of developers ensuring project delivery on time and to budget. The Senior Design Lead should be able to move between design, supporting the delivery team through QA, guidance and problem-solving and leading a development team when required. The Integration Domain Architect will work as a key member of the IT Integration Domain, reporting to the Integration Domain Lead. He or she will prepare and own architectural blueprints and roadmaps for the Integration Platform, ensuring that there is a clear strategic direction set for all Domain platforms. The Domain Architect will be accountable for the quality of the Domain platforms, working with the Delivery and Operations team to ensure the Platform is always working efficiently and effectively The Integration Domain Architect will also prepare architectural overviews and high level designs and specifications for SOA Service and APIs to be hosted on the Domain platforms and will guide and review API and Service designs delivered by colleagues in 3rd party delivery teams. The Integration Domain Architect is a trusted technical leader within the Domain and will be consulted regularly on Integration Platform tools and SOA and Integration best practice. He or she will be accountable for the quality of any technical activities in the Domain, ensuring design and development guidelines and software engineering standards are maintained at a high standard for general use. Together with other team colleagues, the Domain Architect will work to continuously improve quality, value and time to market for all Domain deliverables. The candidate must have expertise as a software engineer and architect with a good understanding of SOA & Integration architecture and API design & management. The candidate is expected to have experience of design and development on one or more enterprise integration tool suites, preferably TIBCO or Oracle FMW. Essential experience: Excellent verbal and written skillsStrong EAI experienceExperience leading and supporting distributed development teamsFull Project Lifecycle experienceExperience involving the Tibco product set is highly deseriableTIBCO - TIBCO business works 5.13 / 6.4, TIBCO EMS 7.x, TIBOC Designer, TIBCO API Exchange GatewayXML Technologies - XML, XSD, XPATH, XSL, XQueryJSON Technologies - Swagger, JWEOS - Unix, WindowsDesign - SOA, OOAD, UML, IBM BlueWorksLanguages - Java, Unix shell scriptingDatabases - Oracle 10g, SQL, PL/SQLTools - CVS, Eclipse5 years + Solution/Integration Design experience preferably in Telecoms environment Desirable experience: Prince 2 or similar qualificationAgile methodolgyExposure to Apigee, Akana API Management products Please submit CVs in the first instance
