Finance Systems Accountant

Birmingham

£250 - £300 per day

We are working with a leading financial services provider who are looking for a Systems Accountant for a 6-month contract based in the West Midlands. Supporting on an ongoing strategic project, you will be delivering operational process improvement and change management within Finance.

Responsibilities include;

* Monitor finance systems, performing data flow reconciliations ensuring all is up-to-date

* Perform system management procedures including monthly ledger close and provide key system MI

* Provide finance systems support for projects, including management of source system feeds

* Contribute to the development of finance IT systems

* Manage resolution of issues working closely with IT to ensure the system performance is maintained

Skills required;

* Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE

* Experience in using SAP or Oracle is essential

* Previous experience within a similar Systems Accountant role
