Software Developer (C++ Python BDD TDD Qt Immediate Mode GUI Parallel Programming). Hugely successful visual effects software house is seeking a Software Developer to work on one of their core products; a cross-platform, C++, Qt-based application that is used by a number of well-known clients within the digital design, media and entertainment space. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work alongside a talented, Agile team where you will be maintaining and developing the company's product utilising modern development methodologies and practices.

Based in central Manchester, close to the train station, you will be joining a friendly and supportive company that will encourage you to reach your full potential as a Software Developer.

Requirements:

*Commercial C++ (11) development experience and ideally Python experience

*Knowledge of modern programming practices (TDD, BDD)

*Experience of cross OS development including Qt across Linux and Windows

*Keen to learn new technologies

*Excellent communication and collaboration skills

*Desirable: Immediate Mode GUI, interest in VFX
