Real Time Recruitment Solutions https://www.rtrs.co.uk Technical Sales Support Engineer, Automotive ECU Development Tooling, DerbyI am working in partnership with a multi-national, industry leading design and manufacturer of innovative solutions for the automotive industry, who are currently looking to grow the team with the addition of a Technical Sales Support Engineer to be based at their Sales office in Derby.
You will be part of this high flying development team within this innovative organisation working on products with up to 80% market share.

Working as a key member of a small, tight-knit team, you will be given the opportunity to liaise closely with customers and be heavily involved in Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Support. This role is customer-facing so will involve some travel although will be mainly office based.
The Pre-Sales element of the role will be to support the team in creating product demonstrations, show them to customers and support them with product evaluations and deployment. You are the technical contact for the UK sales team for all hardware and software products with a particular focus on the field of measurement and calibration but also including software engineering and validation. You will support sales staff in preparation for and at customer sales visits in the role of 'technical authority'. You analyze customer's work processes and elaborate new solution approaches for their individual requirements.
The Post-Sales element of the role includes you to be key technical contact of a number of important UK customers providing aftersales support to customers around the installation and use of products. In situations where you cannot resolve an issue you will be the customer channel to company based support. Additionally, there may be an element of informal customer training on our products.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills;
Essential
-You have a university degree in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable
-You have a strong background in the automotive industry with a focus on measurement and calibration (Ideally INCA)
-Strong Knowledge of ETAS products or similar (Vector, dSPACE, ATI, etc) in the area of measurement and calibration
-You will be flexible, self-motivated, self-sufficient and a completer of tasks. You will need to be able to prioritize, multitask and handle pressure
-Analytical thinking, innovative problem solving, customer focus and technical enthusiasm complement your profile.
