ShortList recruitment are recruiting for a Junior Information Security Analyst to be part of a reputable organisation in Birmingham.

Your main role will be conducting vulnerability assessments and analysing the results, both remotely and onsite, with some travel required.

There will be opportunities to work and progress in other areas of information security consultancy, such as penetration testing. You will improve your qualifications, work with an experienced team, and work with a wide variety of technologies and organisations.

To be considered for the Junior Information Security Analyst role, you should ideally have the following:

Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

Knowledge of IT networking

Experience of vulnerability scanning tools

Exposure to penetration testing and the tools involved

Background in IT Support / SOC roles (1 Years' Experience Minimum)

Experience of working alone on jobs and in team

Good communication skills

Experience of writing technical reports

Driving license
