Country Field Marketing Manager
Job Locations: Camberley, Surrey
Education Requirements: Undergraduate Degree in Manufacturing, IT, Business or Marketing. MBA preferred
Percentage of travel: 25-50%
Area of Responsibility: Country or Group of Countries
Reports to: Country Field Marketing Senior Manager, Field Marketing Director or Director of Zone Marketing
This is a country specific highly skilled role within the Zone Marketing Team. The successful candidate will be accountable and responsible for directly managing country marketing execution and supporting the revenue targets of the country.
Candidates must have strong marketing programme/project management experience and 5 to 10 years related marketing execution experience in enterprise software. The role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision and the candidate will have complete latitude for decision influencing and making.
As the Country Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the following within your role:
-Marketing Planning
-Contribution to and support of direct & indirect target market definitions and go-to-market strategies
-Alignment of marketing plan to support the strategic country operating plan in alignment with the corporate guidelines
-Fiscal planning of program budget
-Demand Creation
-Responsibility for the development and execution of demand creation campaigns while working with the regional sales leaders and outside agencies.
-Accountability for objectives in relation to lead generation, lead conversion, opportunities generation and pipeline contribution.
-Responsibility for the alignment of global marketing campaigns and guidelines with local sales goals and tracking of associated metrics to identify marketing return on investment.
-Reputation
-Responsibility and accountability for all marketing leadership activities including: press relations, media schedules, opinion leadership, executive engagements, technical partnerships, sponsorships and hospitalities.
-Sales Enablement
-Responsibility and accountability for all customer community activities including: annual user conferences, customer facing communication, customer reference programs and product/industry forums.
-Responsibility over the communication of product and sales enablement materials and marketing activities to the country management team, as well as the direct and indirect sales forces.
-Execution
-Responsibility and accountability for the tracking of program budget spend vs. plan.
-Responsibility for the localisation process for the assigned country language(s).
This position requires an individual who has both marketing and sales knowledge with strong planning, analytical, execution and communication skills. Knowledge of market, PLM domain experience and the enthusiasm to communicate our vision to the market while supporting our sales team is essential.
The minimum requirements for this role are:
*Marketing qualification, degree (preferred) or equivalent on-the-job experience
*Proven marketing experience in the B2B software industry
*Strong knowledge of the industrial software market
*Strong project management and collaboration skills
*Excellent time management, interpersonal, communications, decision making, presentation and organization skills
*Ability to work and deliver to a deadline with high quality work
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to lead by example
*Ability to work with others and build consensus based decisions
*Ability to collect input from various teams and decide optimal plan
*Fluency in English is a must
