About Group Analytics: Sitting within our Group Transformation Data and Design function Group Analytics (GA) is the hub for analytics and Business Intelligence within the Group. Delivering a range of analytics, reporting and insight solutions across a vast range of strategic areas they support the business by:

Together we'll make it possible... About the team: This role sits within the Business Intelligence (BI) Platform team and is focused on:

Helping the business unlock the potential of data through innovative self-service reporting - the "BI Marketplace" (think Amazon for BI)

Scaling the service across the enterprise to help reduce the demand for simple reporting requests and enabling our teams to work on more complex projects

Working closely with engineering, data colleagues and third party suppliers to design transition states for our BI technology platforms that enable our vision for the BI Marketplace.

Maintaining and monitoring the existing Tableau BI platform, whilst shaping the implementation of Power BI at the group.

About the roles:

In joining us you'll focus on one of the following two key areas:

You'll scale a BI Platform across 000s of users, setting the strategy and monitoring and governance frameworks to prove the value in this BI as a service initiative.

You'll help craft our BI Marketplace as a product to connect datastores, toolsets and defining the user interface that becomes the service.

About you: You're the sort of person who is passionate about innovative BI solutions, has an aptitude for problem solving and uses that approach to produce simple and effective solutions. You're able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and demonstrate a restless curiosity whilst innovating and actively encouraging new approaches. You'll also need the ability to take the lead on projects seeing through from start to finish while juggling multiple priorities. And critically you'll be experienced in working with and influencing others and sometimes nurturing the skills and capabilities of your colleagues. Could you prove you're a real innovator when it comes to BI solutions? Your CV will need to demonstrate that you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Self-service BI deployments (Tableau and/or Power BI) with specific experience in scaling BI platforms across huge and complex organisations.

BI in the cloud/BIAAS experience/PowerBI deployed Cloud (or better)

Connectivity strategies for BI and Big Data/Hadoop with a background rooted in BI and developing BI portals, ideally with Cloud at the core.

Experience you have in Tableau monitoring through admin views and tools such as Tabmon, Logshark or Lumberjack would also be useful.

You'll also have the desire to learn new approaches, techniques and technologies and work in an agile way.
