Our client are currently looking for an Application Packager to come on board for an initial 6 month contract based in the West Midlands,

Role: Application Packager

Duration: 6 Months initially

Daily rates: Open rate

Location: West Midlands

* To build installer packages and transforms using Admin Studio, InstallShield Automation, scripting using Powershell & VBScript.

* Migrate existing legacy packages to the Application model wherever possible.

* Incorporate automation / custom configuration using Powershell/VB Script and App Deployment Toolkit as necessary.

Demonstrate competence using the SCCM console to:

* Configure Applications including dependencies and detection rules etc.

* Distribution of application package content and diagnose failures.

* Configure collection rules for targeted deployments.

Skills:

* Knowledge of installer technologies and techniques.

* Knowledge of the MSI and EXE packaging process using Admin Studio and Installshield.

* Proficient with VBScript/ PowerShell coding techniques.

* Hands on experience with Autodesk and Bentley packaging

* Working knowledge of Active Directory concepts and principles.
