Manual Test Analyst

One of our West Midlands based clients is seeking a manual test analyst to join their team. You will be responsible for manual testing their software/applications, ensuring that all errors are identified and corrected prior to client release.

This is a manual testing role, however the organisation is looking to transition to an automation environment, and so this is an ideal opportunity for a tester to add automation to their skillset.

As the Manual Test Analyst your duties will include, but not limited to:

*Conduct system testing of new applications and existing software enhancements, ensuring these meet both business and client requirements

*Identify software errors and correct what is identified

*Undertake regression testing, identifying any possible impacts caused by new changes

*Record all test results

*Lead the maintenance and management of manual scripts

*Testing fixes required for any faults reported

*Capturing user stories to ensure applications meet the customers requirements/expectations

*Assist the developers with test driven development testing

*Produce documents and conduct workshops as required

*Take an active role in automation implementation in to the business

As the Manual Test Analyst you will be required to possess:

*Strong experience with manual testing

*ISTQB certified

*Experience working within an IT environment

*Previous experience of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server

*Experience with using Microsoft Test Manager software

*Experience with automation would be beneficial, but is not essential

*Experience working within a manufacturing sector would be desirable
