Service Reliability Engineer Location: MunichPermanent position Jobnr.: 122538 For our client, a software company based in Munich, we are looking for a SRE that contributes to a reliable user experience of their HR operating system by using scalable quality assurance methodologies. Must have is knowledge with Kanban, webbased services and SaaS. Your responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain our Kubernetes orchestrated infrastructure on our cloud platformsContribute in architectural discussions and provide documentation for security reviewsAutomate from A to Z using for example: Terraform, Ansible, lambda functions, etc.Monitor our platform using logs, metrics, tracing, amongst other observability stacks such as ELK, Prometheus, and NewRelic Your qualifications: Excellent written, social communication, and documentation skills8+ years experience in either Debian and RedHat based *nix systems5+ years experience with popular cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)3+ years working in agile environments as an SRE, or related 'DevOps' roleSystematic problem solving/debugging skills, coupled with a strong sense of ownershipProduction experience with DockerExperience with config management tools (Salt, Ansible, Puppet)Experience with CI/CD automation tools (Jenkins/GitLabCI)Experience with at least 1 scripting language (Python, Ruby, PHP)Strong knowledge of either MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQLStrong knowledge of modern application/infrastructure monitoring conceptsAbility to work independently in a result-oriented wayWilling to relocate to Munich permanently If you are interested in this position, please send me an email with your latest CV in Word format.I'm looking forward to receive your application.
