In this new position the Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer will be working on clocking circuits, LDOs, Tx/Rx as well as signal and power integrity analysis. The Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer will be directly involved in delivering next-generation PHY designs for SoCs and will be part of a growing team involved in architecture analysis in leading-edge CMOS process technology nodes at 10nm and beyond. You will also be working on low-power Analog designs for low-power wireless products.
Responsibilities include:
· Architecture, design and development of mixed-signal circuits at 4Gb/s - 6.4Gb/s.· Working on custom blocks including; references blocks, band-gap, Rx/Tx, clock distribution, clocking, DLL/PLLs. · Custom schematic capture, exhaustive pre-silicon validation and SPICE analysis· Signal and Power integrity
Desirable experience includes; a good understanding of architecture, system and integration aspects for DDR PHYs and a good understanding of design for yield and exposure to production challenges in finfet technologies.
Industry degree qualified the successful Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer will be industry degree qualified with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in custom mixed-signal circuit design in CMOS for high speed DDR PHYs in latest technology nodes. Experience in custom schematic capture, layout and SPICE analysis is also of interest.
