Cloud Security Analyst

My nationally recognised and market leading client is looking for an experienced Cloud Security Analyst to join their well established IT team at their head office in Coventry!

The Cloud Security Analyst will work within a very experienced IT Security and Risk and team and will be responsible for delivering O365 and AWS security and compliance and project support for these services.

Responsibilities:

*Successful management of security and compliance for O365/AWS environment and services

*Managing compliance issues with providers to ensure best practice is adopted to standard and highlight any issues

*Effective stakeholder engagement with providers, DR&S, technical teams and business areas as appropriate

*Recommendations for improvements to standards and policies and ensuring they are applied, owning the issue through to resolution from providers

*Ensuring that key risks and issues are identified, addressed and resolved in a manner that satisfies the business risk appetite.

*Be a Subject matter expert in producing and maintaining AWS and O365 Security settings/best practice/standards, conducting reviews and making recommendations for updates to settings, impact analysis of changes and risk assessments

*Flexibility to occasionally travel as role requires

Skills and Experience:

*O365/AWS security and compliance centre subject matter expert

*Knowledge of CASB technologies

*Prepared to challenge stakeholder thinking and have the "difficult conversations" where needed

*Excellent communication, project and change management skills

*Able to demonstrate a degree of credibility and influence stakeholders within the organisation

*Experience with Mail routing (Exchange online)

*Capable of configuring Anti-spam & Archiving of exchange online

*Experience with SPF records and capable of enforcing a hard fail approach

*Capable of implementing retention periods on a per app basis, specifically around high confidence phishing emails
