Job Title: Project Manager - SAP ProjectsLocation: NottinghamSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Corporate BenefitsJob Type: Full Time, PermanentThey design, deliver and continuously evolve a range of IT services on the Public Cloud and on premise. They've facilitated these outcomes through designing, provisioning, supporting and optimising their customer's solutions through performance and process analysis, interface development and data management strategies. A significant proportion of their customers are migrating application workloads to the Cloud where they are thought leaders.About the Role:Reporting to the Head of IT Service Operations, they are searching for an experienced Project Manager who will provide both vision and leadership to their highly experienced Operations teams, Consultants and Service Delivery Managers in managing multiple SAP project implementations. These implementations are typically over an 8 to 12 week profile involving the implementation of their Infrastructure as Code services to On-Premise or Cloud based platforms.They also provide further project management support to customers in the migration and transition of SAP ECC systems to SAP S/4 HANA with their partners. This role will have overall responsibility for the project delivery, management and reporting of their services to support all of their customers' needs. This role is part of the IT Service Delivery team and will collaborate closely with their Professional Services teams, external service providers, partners and engineering teams to ensure secure, consistent and high performance service is delivered to their customers.Main Responsibilities:Be responsible and accountable for the delivery of project management services and ensure their effective delivery, management and reporting to meet customer needsEnsure all Statements of Work are agreed and signed off and any business changes are managed against the agreed Statement of WorksBe responsible for setting up the project management framework and establish the PMO structure per project based on their standards and governance proceduresMaintain ownership of project scope, timelines, deliverables, tasks, quality, budget and costsDevelop and lead the integration of the agreed project plan with the associated project reporting and tracking as well as management of business change, project RACI and plansLead the integration, testing and management of transition activities including management of partners, customer resources and 3rd partiesMaintain positive relationships with key sponsors, project leaders, resources and partnersBe responsible for the commercial management of project tasks, resources and deliverables to achieve the forecast marginsBe an active stakeholder in the support handover where applicable to their managed services or project implementationsProvide strong team leadership and governance for them and for the customer in the project to prioritise and document tasks and projectsProvide project technical leadership and coordination of resources on SAP implementation through the entire project lifecycle (Preparation, Contract, Definition, Design, Build, Implementation, Transition, Cut-Over, Go-Live, Managed Services)The successful Candidate will have/ be:At least 5 years experience as an implementation Project Manager in a medium to large organisation leading a team of at least 5 project resourcesSignificant experience of Agile as well as Waterfall and Prince 2 project approaches, practices, supporting project implementations and processesExperience of driving customer specific change programmes and migration of SAP to S/4 HANA strategies based on cloud and subscription models using Agile and Waterfall processesExperience of leading expert support resources, consultants and specialists and structuring, organising and prioritising workloads on a daily basisExperience of working within an agile development environment (ideally Kanban/Scrum) with strong collaboration skillsExcellent communication and customer management skills both reactive and proactiveStrong presentation skillsStrong customer management skills both remotely and face to faceAbility to effectively engage at all levels of the client and resolve project challenges and relationship management issuesAbility to work closely with customer and the process owners and other key stakeholders to report and manage project progressWillingness to take on new challenges and a commitment to complete the very highest quality project delivery to the agreed Statement of WorksAmbition and desire to develop within a rapidly expanding organisation where the role of the Project Manager is a crucial area underpinning their overall successBenefits:Highly competitive salary and excellent benefits packageHugely supportive working environment with a dynamic culture and companyPersonal development, training and knowledge sharing from the CEO downwardsFlexible and diverse working environmentSounds interesting?
