A Global Cloud Hosting organisation are looking for an experienced Network Specialist to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved with a hard-working team while also having fun. They are keen to provide an environment where all employees thrive and grow.

We are looking to expand the already in place team. You will be joining the Network Operations Centre Team. This is a fast-paced environment so the need to be busy is a must!

You will be working on a shift pattern which will be 24/7 to cover all requirements. You would need to be willing to adhere to these shift patterns and notice for these will be provided via a rota.

Skills / Environment - Please note not all are essential

*Network Experience

*TCP/IP

*Routing, Switching and Cabling

*Internet Protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF)

*Cisco / Juniper / Brocade

*French Speaking

Role Overview

The Network Specialist will be involved with providing a voice to their customers. You will be customer support within this high impact position you are mainly responsible for blending customer support and network operations. The Network Specialist will also be monitoring network health and respond to event alarms. Detect and Mitigate Distributed Denial of Service against customer networks.

This is a very varied position and would provide you with a busy and varied workload. We are looking for someone who can dream big and want to be one of the best.

Salary: £30-36k
