Power Electronics Engineer

About the role
Based near Lipstadt the Power Electronics Design Engineer will be joining a fantastic technology company that focuses on the automotive market. The hardware department at this company is rapidly growing and the successful engineer will be joining a great team, working in an exciting environment at the forefront of the automotive sector. The Power Electronics Design Engineer will be tasked to design and develop hardware modules primarily for the automotive industry.
The main responsibilities of the Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer will be: to develop DC-DC and AC-DC modules for automotive applications, technical coordination with customers, supplier and relevant departments and carry out development work on existing products. Other responsibilities include specification of tests and technical coordination with internal departments.
Requirement's for the role
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree in Electronics and have direct exposure to:
· Power conversion for low (60v).· DC-DC converter design· Knowledge of EMC and Thermal management.· Hardware test experience.
