The Web Support Analyst Role:

The Web Support Analyst is primarily responsible for the delivery of web support.

The role involves dealing with service requests, small system changes (whether coding or configuration) and ad-hoc queries. Wherever possible, issues and bugs should be fixed, or triage provided before passing to the relevant skilled person/department.

Main Duties Include:

+ Update content (HTML/CSS/Javascript) and images in all web facing systems.
+ Provide support for the CDS core products, ensuring that incidents are dealt with in an accurate and timely fashion.
+ Complete issue resolution and small development enhancements to software systems.
+ Daily triage of ticketing system and either take responsibility for the work or escalate as necessary.
+ Configuration of core systems. (e.g. creating a new merchant for Activate or setting up a paypal client)
+ Assist Team leader in software deployments.
+ Making sure all work carried out follows OWASP/PCI guidelines.

About You:

Essential:


+ Working knowledge of HTML 4-5 and CSS
+ Understanding of Javascript and third party javascript libraries
+ Understanding of Responsive web design
+ Capable of creating images and designs using imaging software
+ Triage issues and assign to relevant people or escalate
+ Complete small system enchantments, whether coding or front end development
+ Provide support for all CDS applications to the business
+ Understanding of E-Commerce business strategy
+ Experience knowledge in MSSQL (2008- 2014)
+ Working with SQL server management and database administration
+ Writing queries in T-SQL language

Desirable:

+ Understanding of ASP and ASP.Net/MVC C# and VB.net
+ Understanding of SEO
+ Understanding of GA/GTM
+ Ability to act as a mentor for junior staff members, and to share knowledge with all in the team
+ Familiar with version control software and Continuous Integration systems
+ To be expected to learn new concepts and diversify into new technical areas, depending on their skill levels
