Contract Electronics Project LeaderOur client are a global scale manufacturer of medical and surgical devices who have a contract requirement for an Electronics Project Leader with experience managing outsourced design and manufacture processes.Purpose of the role:Providing technical engineering support to external manufacturing partners and supporting new outsourced manufacturing process design.Supporting the site productivity targets through cost management and profit improvement techniques.Liaising with suppliers and Procurement to manage component obsolescence.Ensuring compliance to required standards including GMP, IEC 60601 and ISO 13485.Contributing from NPD launches to product delivery.Project managing to time and budget constraints.Candidate Requirements:A relevant engineering degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Process, Chemical or similar.Experience in a similar role within high volume manufacture, ideally medical devices.Experience working in an FDA controlled environment.Strong project management skills with a focus on improving profitability.
