6 MonthsOur client is a diagnostic systems manufacturer with products focusing on the diabetes market, specifically blood glucose monitoring systems. They are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team in Inverness. Technical Competencies and Responsibilities include:Providing Quality Engineering leadership and project management to all areas of the businessMinimising risk to the customer through risk analysis and risk management throughout the product lifecycleLeading reduction of the cost of quality and non-compliance to the businessEnsuring adherence to Quality system in order to achieve highest levels of compliance and identifies improvements to the system.Utilizing Process Excellence tools and methodologies, leads activities to lean out processes, improve products, raw materials and reduce customer complaintsLeading CAPAs to drive improvementNCMR Investigation and implementation of corrective actionsActing as Quality SME to the businessTraining others in Quality systems, tools and objectivesWorking in partnership with Marketing and R&D to ensure customer Quality needs are met at product design and development phase and throughout product development lifecycleIn partnership with Manufacturing, leads reduction of non-conforming product and processesThe ability to analyze and identify emerging trends, to highlight preventative measure opportunitiesSupporting and deputising for the Quality Manager as required Knowledge:Product KnowledgeManufacturing knowledgeKnowledge of diabetesWorking knowledge of regulatory and compliance environment e. ISO 13485:2003; 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 14971 and ISO 15197FMEA; SRA; DOEStatisticsWorking knowledge of failure investigation Skills required include:Quality AcumenProject Management skills with ability to prioritise and effectively manage to defined timelinesMeeting ManagementFinancial AcumenData driven decision makingTime ManagementTechnical Specification WritingAbility to train othersProactive approach to issue identification and problem resolutionVerbal communicationsNegotiationResilient and ability to work under pressure.
