A Software Support Consultant is required to join a Dundee-based software company specialising in the design, creation and support of call centre software and telecoms services. Now in their ninth year of operation and following steady growth of their customer base, they are looking to expand their product support team to ensure their reputation for excellent customer service is maintained.

To fill this role they are looking for a bright, eloquent and technically gifted individual to assist new and existing customers to get the best results they can from their products while resolving any problems or queries that they might have. This position will also involve you working closely with their engineering teams to resolve software issues, design enhancements and document new features.

The following skills will be essential to this role:

- A proven ability and enthusiasm for mastering complex software applications and the ability to apply your knowledge to assist others

- Keen problem solving abilities

- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken

- A friendly, helpful and outgoing personality is a must

Skills that are desirable for applicants for this role are:

- Past experience in a customer service position

- Ability to speak confidently in front of groups of 15 - 20 people

- Knowledge of foundation-level TCP/IP network configuration and troubleshooting

- SQL database programming experience

The starting salary for this role is between £22,000 and £24,000 with excellent scope for career development.
