Senior Business Analyst

£65,000 - £72,000 + perm benefits

A leading payments organisation based in Reading is currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to come on board and be responsible for working in a cross-team environment to drive creation solutions to business problems using internal business systems. As the Senior Business Analyst you will be involved in review business processes from end-to-end to identify and address technological and operational risks. This role will also drive analysis and requirements definition for technology projects that impact numerous systems. This role primarily includes responsibility for business & systems analysis related to the ERP environment, which heavily utilizes Microsoft Dynamics AX as well as the CRM environment from Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

*Working with functional and technical teams, drive requirements definition for changes and enhancements to the Dynamics AX-based ERP system. Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to capture business needs completely and with consideration for the detail required for technical specifications

*Identify inefficient processes. Work closely with business partners to recommend both process and technical efficiencies. Facilitate quantifiable gains in business execution

*Provide analysis support for large projects. Work with business and technical teams to ensure robust workflow analysis, consideration of upstream and downstream impacts, attention to data requirements, and business efficiencies

*In partnership with key leadership team members, prioritise work for key systems. Ensure business interests and technical scheduling/feasibility are considered in planning

*Work closely with the Development team to ensure requirements are well understood and converted to clear, thorough specifications. Facilitate resolution of any questions or conflicting requirements

*Partner with QA team members to support meaningful, thorough test scripts. Work closely with the business and technical teams to drive the UAT process

*Assist with on-going change management and documentation maintenance

*Provide crisp, factual communication for management consumption

*Provide coaching to team members and business partners alike to drive better process adoption

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree in a technical field/ business/ related field or equivalent experience

*Substantial experience in support and analysis of Dynamics AX or a closely related ERP system

*Experience as a Business Analyst for at least one full implementation of an ERP system in a heavily integrated (on-premise) environment, or equivalently complex and cross-functional project

*Experience with financial reporting an advantage

*Proven experience working across functional lines to drive activities to closure

*Experience working in an Agile environment
