An opportunity for multiple Embedded Software/Senior/Principal Embedded Software Engineers is now available with a company who are looking to expand their teams. The company also offer an excellent path for progression with most of their management layer being promoted from within. Your role will be hands on throughout the full product life cycle within Software Development and leasing with a number of teams including Electronics, Power, Functional Safety and Research. In return, the company offer an excellent benefits package and bonus!You will have a number of years ideally experience in Embedded Software programming in C on RTOS. Ideally, you will have also worked to safety critical standards whether that is in the automotive industry or Aerospace with experience of the full product life cyle. Most of the work you will be involved in is centered on the development of new ideas and fitting them into custom architectures, which will require a large amount of creative thinking. The final software will be running in a safety critical system, so must be proven to be reliable to a high degree of rigor.

Core skills/Experience include:-Experience in development of real-time embedded software using the C programming language.Experience in the whole software development lifecycle, ideally, the V-model lifecycle.Experience working alongside and collaborating with controls and hardware engineering teamsKnowledge of typical optimisation techniques and how to apply these to real-time systemsExperience with formal coding standards.Debugging on real-time embedded systems.Dealing with real time operating systemsSafety critical experienceUnderstanding of HardwareI appreciate that you may not have every skill listed but if you feel you would be suitable for this role please do get in touch!
