£15,000 to £20,000 DOE + Package + Pension + HolidayExcellent opportunity for a young engineer with some form of hands on experience to join a unique, rapidly expanding company offering a technically challenging and varied position where you will progress your career.This company are based in Exeter and are a specialist working in a unique field of non-destructive testing. Through impressive investment they are now looking to expand, because of this they are now adding a NDT Apprentice / Technician / Trainee R&D Engineer to their busy team.There are exciting plans to expand offices to other locations in both the UK and the US and EU in order to be closer to customers. So there are plenty of opportunities for internal growth and progression into senior roles.We are interested in talking enthusiastic young technicians or engineers with experience in a technical role or workshop environment who want to be part of an exciting and growing company, who want to develop themselves and progress their careers while being supported along the way.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a unique, expanding company in a varied, interesting and technically challenging position.The Role:

*Mentored by senior engineers

*Maintaining laboratory stock of consumable items

*Assembling mechanical and electrical systems

*Maintenance of laboratory equipment

*Potential career progression to laboratory manager or production manager

*Some travel may be required to customers' sitesThe Person:

*Experience working in a workshop environment

*A vocational qualification in a technical subject

*GCSEs in Mathematics and English

*Any experience of ordering and maintaining stock and resources beneficial but not required

*Any experience of carrying out risk assessments beneficial but not required

*Any experience with power tools and machining of components beneficial but not required
