Trainee Workshop Technician position available for an expanding company who will provide you with full training from experienced toolmakers where you will eventually progress into a toolmaker role yourself.Have you completed a mechanical apprenticeship? Are you looking for a company that will invest in you and get you fully involved in hands-on machining work?

Established almost 50 years ago, this company specialise in the production of high quality precision equipment within the Plastic industry both UK and Worldwide. Due to continued success, they are looking to bring in a young engineer they can fully train and develop through the business.

In this role you will be working in the factory alongside more experienced members of the team, where you will be allocated specific tool parts to manufacture as per engineering drawings. You will receive on the job training to help with this and so will need a high level of self-motivation to work alongside senior engineers and learn from themThe ideal candidate will hold a completed Apprenticeship within a Mechanical Discipline and be looking to build a career where you will be fully trained and developed in both Toolmaking and a future role in Mechanical DesignThe Role:

*Trainee Workshop Technician

*Full Training to become a Toolmaker

*Producing products from Engineering Drawings

*£11.50 - £13.50 an hourThe Person:

*Completed Apprenticeship in a Mechanical Discipline

*Interested to move into a design-based role in the future

*Live within commutable distance of Sunbury-On-Thames
