Are you a Power Electronics Engineer looking for your next role in an exciting and challenging industry? I am working with a reputable client based in the North East who are looking to expand their Power Electronics team. You will be involved into new research with regards to Power Electronics and designing their power electronics for use in a safety critical environment. You will also be working alongside the software and mechanical design teams. Your role will be throughout the full lifecycle and the company are also happy to invest in any training that may be required for you to be successful. You will have experience in designing and development of circuits within power supplies battery chargers or DC DC converters. Your role will be in designing Power Electronic circuits of upwards of 5KW. Ideally you will also have experience or an understanding at least of Embedded C/Simulink/Matlab. Core Skills for this role include:- Power Electronics Design (Power levels of 5KW+)MOSFET/IGBTDesign and development of circuits eg - Power Supplies Battery Chargers or DCDC ConvertersAppreciation/Understanding of Realtime Controls/CSimulink/MatlabSafety Critical Experience/ExposurePower Electronics/Hardware.
