Linux Admin/Engineer with VMware, ITIL, monitoring and the ability to be SC Cleared needed for a permanent opportunity in Bristol. £45k per annumBristol PermanentThe client is a global leader in their field with offices around the world and due to even more growth and large impending cloud projects require another engineer. For this role you will have to have linux support (ideally administration), VMware support, ITIL and monitoring tools (ideally nagios) experience, you will also have to be SC Clearable or already SC Cleared. Also any experience working within an MOD, Defence or Secure environment would be desirable. The current environment is quite small but over the next 15 months the client will be preparing and starting, to move all 3rd party datacentres and their own into an AWS cloud environment so any experience or understanding in the cloud would be desirable, even better if it's AWS. The role will be mainly project support and bau support for the first year but then it will be moving to linux administration to within the cloud so this role would really suit an engineer looking to move into systems admin or a linux admin looking to get strong experience with AWS.Key SkillsLinux Server Support (administration level ideally)VMware SupportITILMonitoring tools (ideally Nagios)SC ClearableDesirableSC ClearedAWS Experience/UnderstandingIf you are interested in this role please call Jonny Dent at People Source Consulting on 0117 9309 767 and drop me an email with your updated CV .
